Musings on Exacerbating time, Buying truth, Sadistic humor and pleasure ! Live life as if you have never lived it. Fear, is in thought, and so is future. There is no past nor future, but NOW. Thought wants to continue your pleasures in the past, to the future, the way that you have enjoyed a good sweet, sensual pleasures, and so on. Its the same thought, if you analyze, is responsible about the perception of future. Because future is uncertain, and you get fear, by thinking about it. Whether you can win your goal, or not, whether your cars and buildings stay with you as it is, or get lost in earthquake ? Whether your kids do well ? Whether you die without fulfilling your ambitions/goals ? Whether someone is going to hurt you in future and drag your position, your respect and so on ! Its a good cognitive process, that ensures security, and has evolved over evolution. But it causes unnecessary fear. Fear about uncertainty. Fear about everything. We dont even have time to sit down in this busy life, and we expect truth to be a product that can be obtained at a nearest grocery store, so that we can swipe our credit cards, filled with money, which is used uselessly for our selfish motives, and buy the truth, buy the purpose of life. And more happy we are, if they have home delivery options, so that you get your truth at your home, and you can sit before TV, and read it. Cant you see the utter futility in such attempts ? Which has given rise to many fake Gurus who earned crores through human foolishness. We are equipped with same mind, and brain, and God is not partial. He is not a politician, to discriminate people based upon their caste etc., He gave divinity to everyone, but only we have lost it. We enjoy a show where in a tiger hunts a deer, and deer is running for its life. We move towards the end of the chair, to see with utmost interest, and we dont enjoy the same show showing a group of cows grazing peacefully for a long time. Can you see how bad is our thought ? Whole thought process as Carl Sagan puts it, is corrupted. We have reptilian residue in our brain, in R-complex, and we are behaving as reptiles still ! We enjoy kids falling from cycle, or someone throwing pie cake on others face, or circus joker getting kicked. Enjoyment is only derived at the cost of others, backbiting about them, or cracking jokes about them. Is it meaningful to term as foolish or funny ? As if we are omniscient ! And given a chance to speak, before Camera, we speak as if we are Mahatma Gandhis and say about transforming the nation. But we dont even know who we are. I want to change the nation and transform it , that sentence itself starts with I, so as long as you dont know that I, you cant even reform an ants colony. You can safely ignore reforming humans then. We dont even have patience to listen. Listening is the only way to enlightenment. We dont even listen to others. Art of listening and seeing, alone leads to eternity, and you need not chant through millions of names, to get austerity. Just listen, as God is present always near you, but we dont listen or see, completely. See as in Seeing with third eye, seeing with heart, seeing with totality. We interpret what others say quickly with the knowledge we have in our mind, and try to derive the conclusions, using stereotypes, syllogisms and implications. So a small test. A very small test. How much time can you sit in one place, without thinking anything, without moving a bit, and seeing something, without thinking about anything related to it ? The time you can do that, gives you the extent you are being a genius. You master the art of listening and seeing then. Nature is not stupid and dumb to unravel its beauty to every tom, dick and harry. For Einstein once said All the fifty years of conscious brooding has brought me no closer to the answer to the question, What are light quanta? Of course every rascal thinks he knows the answer, but he is deluding himself. (Albert Einstein) . If Quanta themselves are so hard, imagine about God, imagine about reality, one life is not enough for that. Life and death are just game plays, they are not real. We are dream, dream of God. So be fearless. I want to end this with this quote by Paramahamsa Yogananda Fearlessness means faith in God, faith in His protection, His justice, His wisdom, His mercy, His love, and His omnipresence. Not even a single blade of grass can move against his will. To be fit for Self-realization, a man must be fearless.
