Muslim convert tasered by police was heard chanting that he wanted to kill non-Muslims before trying to kill policemen and firefighters in knife rampage The man was tasered multiple times and arrested on suspicion of trying to kill a police officer after launching his attack in broad daylight on a busy London street. ‘I saw the police Taser the man and it didn’t affect him at all, he just carried on running.’ All I can say is Tasers are not effective against a man with a lethal weapon. A Taser is not a lethal weapon. It is high voltage electricity with a low current. Like a distributer cap shock on a car. That would not shop a crazed killer. Simple - This guy for the protection of the public - Should have been shot, not lethally but grounded.
