Muslim girls schools are being criticised for having the burka or jilbab as school uniform. The jilbab is a perfectly decent looking outer garment that thousands of girls and women wear. It doesnt even mean the face is covered. Yet somehow it a legitimate criticism that Muslims are having to respond to in the media. The real question that society should be asking is, which idiots idea was it to popularise miniskirts as school uniform for secondary school girls up and down this country? In Muslim schools boys and girls cover equally. Why is it that in so many of our schools boys are fully dressed and girls arent? Why the disparity? What have our girls done to be treated so differently? What exactly is their school uniform teaching them? Pick up any islamic book and it will tell you that the burka is about modesty? What exactly is a miniskirt on a school girl about? People need to get their perspectives straight. Muslims should stick this media onslaught through. Stick to your tradition. When liberal people have completely lost the plot, theyll need us to show them the way back to normality. They can thank us then. Think of it as serving your country
