Must tell you about my lunch experience today. Went to Mcdonalds for a burger, fries and a coke; found a nice quiet table with no one around and was watching the weather channel and reading a book. About 5 mins. l8r a mother and father with twins, 1 boy, 1 girl, walk in and sit down at the table next to me. At that moment I was watching the TV and the mother decides she is gonna change channels and not even ask me if I was watching it. Not a real big issue but it would have been nice to be asked as it was quite obvious I was watching. Now the boy and girl are about 5 yrs old and the mother puts them both in a booster chair. Well these kids start scooting around in the booster chairs all over the place and dad is just sitting there doing nothing while mother is at the counter placing their order. Well to make a long story short, the little boy starts slobbering all over his hands and rubbing it on his face. He slobbers in his hands and rubs it in his hair. All the while dad is playing a game on his Ipad or whatever. Finally ask the man to please put his son back at their table because I started getting sick at my stomach. Now all is fine until the boy spits in his dads face rubs it around.........all the time dad just plays with his Ipad. These are probably special needs children but I am sure dad, if he had chosen too, could have gently corrected this young boys behavior, especially in public. Needless to say I lost my lunch. Hope everyone had a better Friday lunch experience then that.
