My 10 year old Daughter wrote this and I liked it for the message. Do you? There is a big smell outside, and Susan watches as the men clean out all the stinky garbage from the bins. Susan is a great nature lover, but today is Garbage day and she cannot bear to go out in the smell. She starts to wonder, as she watches the men clean out the garbage, what would happen if we didnt have garbage men. The entire place would be stinky, and the smell would affect her beloved plants. The smell would affect the domestic livestock in the farm nearby. They would not give good milk .Slowly the animal population would decrease. Milk and milk products would not be obtained in good quality. If people would eat it, they would become sick. Slowly the smell would lead to diseases, and if they were contagious the disease would affect the entire country. Slowly the disease would spread to other countries. Slowly the human population would decrease as well. Susan learnt that day, that even a garbage man has such a big value. He is actually responsible for millions of lives. All occupations are of equal value. We must respect each occupation. We must pass on this great message, so life will be easy for people with occupations that dont have a big salary or something.
