My 10 year old [adopted, if it matters somehow] girl has decided - TopicsExpress

My 10 year old [adopted, if it matters somehow] girl has decided that she will not cooperate, especially on meds. She has a more severe mutation. When she was hospitalized last year after her appendix started to rupture, our RT gave her an Acapella because The Vest was not really an option after surgery. Now (six months later) she is often refusing to do morning vest but will sometimes do the Acapella... We feel like sometimes we get a better return from the Acapella but are forced to believe that the doctors who have known her since birth, probably have a better idea than we do? Will the effectiveness of the Acapella reduce as it becomes less novel to her? Okay, now Im getting myself into the what if and how can we make it worse modes so Ill leave this it this. Clinic is coming up but I was wondering if any of the soldiers already doing and experienced with the glories of CF have opinions or ideas...
