My 13 year old is very intelligent, however, most of the time it appears she thinks common sense is a popular perfume/cologne. Case in point..this morning I told her she needed more than just a hoodie because it was chilly out. 2mins after dropping her off at the bus stop, this text conversation took place: H: I may or may not be freezing. M: lol H: Wow this is not an lol matter M: If only you had a brand new fall jacket that a loving parent had bought you....oh wait, YOU DO! H: If only you could take me seriously for once. M: Well its Oct 27, you should know to wear a jacket H: Bus is here...Im finally warm from the harsh temperatures out here on the chilly east coast. M: LMAO....youre an idiot. H: :D Thats my baby-girl.
