My 19 month old has figured out how to flip, yes flip, out of the crib. This was after he figured out how to pull himself onto the side rail, balance himself on it, and then continue to pull himself into the changing table. At which point he would climb down it and open the door and run out of the room. I always thought those scenarios were embellished to make the story funnier, needless to say they werent, and I am not laughing tonight.
