My 1958 Series 1 109 pick up is going to be put on the market pretty soon. The bodywork is excellent but the fire wall now needs some tlc to get it up to scratch. It runs really well but currently has a 2.25 motor fitted. I have now acquired a good complete RUNNING 2.0lt spreadbore motor ready for fitting. Have the the alternative bell housing etc to do the swop. There is also another complete 2.0lt motor but the exhaust valve seats are shot and need insert to be fitted. Have all the pistons 0.020 plus a set of new rings. A lot of loose spares including starters, generators, clock, gauges, SU fuel pumps. The whole lot must go together. I have now had this vehicle in the family since 1960 but it is time for it to go to a new home. I am no longer going to be building Series vehicles as my chassis and motor are badly in decline so going to go soft and by a Disco. I am going to miss her terribly but it is time to let go.
