Barbados juniors realised the effort, time and experience needed today. They faced the Trinidad Panam team who has been together playing for 7 years, and got a great lesson on how to press, counter, finish etc. They suffered a 0-45 loss to TnT Panam team and took it on the chin. Second game they faced the home team Curaçao and some bad luck. Yes a few counters scored but we also hit the bar a lot. The boys loss 4-14 but have never fought a game like that. The second half the boys fought their hearts out and played some good Water polo for the second half. We definitely will try to win the return leg tomorrow night against Curaçao. We can win that game, hands down. The boys showed the lack of experience but they definitely have the heart and determination. As the tournament continued, they are learning how to fight for every ball and put it all in. They are gaining valuable experience and seeing the levels we need to be at. Thanks for the support on behalf of the boys, we definitely shall keep fighting for the broken Trident! Team Barbados !
