My 2 dogs, Jake & Gabby (brother and sister, yellowish, fixed labs), went missing (stolen from inside a 6 foot privacy fence) on July 14, from 291 Hwy & Leonard St., Liberty, MO. They are not chipped and did not have their colars on. 29 days later, Jake shows up at home...in the 6 ft tall privacy fence with closed gates. Everyone in the neighborhood knows them, but I went door to door and nobody admits to putting him in the yard. He has lost about 15 pounds, but was overweight when he went missing. He was also being treated for an ear infection when he left, and his ears are very clean. His coat is also soft, so I dont think he has been on his own this whole time. He was covered in ticks though, and had never had a flea or tick on him before. They are both inside dogs and only go out to potty and play. Gabby is still missing. She is more of a reddish color, with a white dot on her forehead. She does have seizures, which makes me even more worried about her. She is a very good girl who is shy around people, but friendly with other animals. She may lick you to death. She can sit, shake hands, and park it, and of course house trained. She loves to play in water. They have never been in a crate either. She also has anxiety when her brother is not there. She will pace, whimper, and look all over for him.
