My 21st birthday was nothing like I expected. And to be honest I just didn’t want it to be my birthday today. I was sad and upset all day because I was home sick and not around the people that I had always thought I would celebrate this day with. But as it turns out I have some pretty amazing people here in Mankato that were willing to make this day special for me. I would like to give a huge thank you to Amy Rohwedder, Sandra Eggert, Sam Budzinski and Briana Schultz. They reminded me today that just because I am not with my real family doesn’t mean that I don’t have family here. My Yankee Candle family is pretty amazing and I am so luck to have them all as my Mankato family, I would not trade them for the world! Thank you to everyone one else that helped me celebrate and wished me a happy birthday. It really does mean a lot to me!
