My 3 hour fight and struggle for fuel this morning and the events - TopicsExpress

My 3 hour fight and struggle for fuel this morning and the events that transpired, further confirms my point that people will do anything once they know they can get away with it. Doing right should not be left to the conscience alone. Laws must be passed and enforced to ensure that people are forced to go the right way. There is crime even in churches so why do we expect good to automatically emanate from citizens? Fuel attendants were selling a gallon of 70gh worth of fuel for at least 120gh...and some individuals were also selling theirs for as much as 200gh in town. Some stations were hoarding the fuel in wait of the price increment. Times are hard and businesses want to make profits and cut losses so not everyone will be honest. This is when the systems must work. The kalabuley cycle continues because the cab driver will certainly transfer the extra cost of the fuel to his passengers...and on and on it goes... Democracy is not good for an ungodly people unless the systems are highly efficient...people will cheat.
