My 30-Day Report Card! One of my election campaign lines read: “Bring Babu Back to Put the State Back on Track.” That was a lot of responsibility on my shoulders considering the amount of damage that Congress did to the State – both administration and morale-wise. After I swore in last month, I quickly embarked on the job I was chosen for. Asking for a 100-Day Plan from all departments was the first step taken. Power is the most vital resource to ensure development of the State. The first White Paper was intentionally released on Power to present the challenges and steps taken by the Government to overcome them. I went about securing the power interests of the State by meeting concerned authorities in Delhi. We were hence able to obtain additional power of 75 MW and allocation of adequate coal. The eventful 30 days also saw me achieve ordinance on Polavaram project, forming of Ministerial Sub-committee to protect Government lands, dealing a blow on red sandalwood smuggling, extending ‘Free Anna Daanam’ Schemes to other temples and swift response and relief to victims of Beas, Nagaram Gas Pipeline and Chennai Building Collapse tragedies and much more. The journey has just begun and we have a long way to go. I hope you will always support me in all my endeavors.
