My 4th of July consisted of me witnessing a first grader get plowed over by a sixth grader who wasnt paying attention and having to lift him over my shoulder to carry him out of the sun (since he was crying and refused to move). Best part...running into the principal and trying to explain why I was carrying this limp boy with my terrible Japanese. Better part...after dropping him at the nurse and going through the rest of my day I ran into him on my way out of school where he came up and shyly set his head against my hip muttering ありがとうございました。(Thank you *polite*)
