My 8 favourite albums of 2014, just in alphabetical order. Tori Amos – Unrepentant geraldines Sebastian Bach – Give ’em hell Flying Colors – Second Nature Pink Floyd –The endless river Rated X – Rated X Stever – Idiot savant The Tea Party – The ocean at the end Various artists – Ronnie James Dio: This is your life (tribute album) Two other albums which I played a lot in 2014 were ‘Seasons will fall’ by Circle II Circle and ‘Peace breaker’ by Skew Siskin. Their concerts were certainly highlights of the many wonderful concerts I witnessed this year. For those who are not famiiar with all artists listed above, I include the video of ‘Juggernaut’ by Stever. The album Idiot Savant is Karen Stever on her best. Think of a mixture of Dalbello, Alice Cooper (his theatrical side) and Queen. Still, that does not do enough justice to her because she has a well distinguishable own style and sound. Enjoy!
