My Baptism Poem Out upon the darkness night There still was always a bit of light Cast onto the shadows great Knowing deep down it was never to late Saved from the depths within Even with all the sin Tried to make the greatest flee Not really sure if there was a want to be free Learning quick there is no way to hide God knows exactly what is inside No matter how much you try to run Life will catch up to everyone When it does no longer fear God will bring you very near Show you the way it was meant to be We all deserve to be set free As the final walls come down Seeing the true world all around A sense of peace come from within Let this new life begin Remember the moment upon this stage As you breathe and engage Hear a final thought before you leave The one you picture and see God has sent the words to you Because they are so true My Chains are Gone Ive been set free I feel alive, I come alive I am alive on God’s great dance floor of Fox River Christian Church
