My Challenge to Supporters (An Open Discourse) Re: Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo Our Collective Mandate for 2015 I come to you ones again Fellow Cross Riverians with warmest greetings of this Joyous month of December, the month we all are in high expectation of the Birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ and in that same spirit of Christmas, we also expect as a people the Emergence of Our Next Governor from the PDP Governorship Primaries Scheduled for December 8, 2014. The Emerging Governor is the man that will take over from our Game Changer – HE Senator Liyel Imoke; a Man with a Large Heart, a Governor that Loves Cross River state & his Fellow Citizens so Dearly that he will stop at nothing to see that the State’s People Democratic Party & Cross River State Citizens remain as one Indivisible Family not minding the amount of insult meted on him unjustly by the “Enemies of the State”, those I prefer to call “Fallen Angels” because they were all active members of this big family but just like their new master ‘Lucifer’ who was a very active member of the Host of Heaven and we all know his roll now against the host of heaven. However, my challenge today is to All of You who have Principals other than Ntufam (Barr) Fidelis Ugbo that You dream of them as potential Governors of Cross River State. I challenge you today in the interest of our dear state – Cross River State, that is only & only if YOU LOVE Cross River State to please Tell Cross Riverians the CAPACITY DISPOSITION of that your Principal, I mean those major CREDENTIALS of his that makes u Keep Dreaming of him up till this day with just a Few Hours to the Guber Primaries as CAPABLE of being the GOVERNOR of CRS. Please Note, am not asking you for “Paid Write Up Visions” that your Principal may not even be able to ‘Interpret’ not to talk of having the ‘Technical Know How’ for ‘Implementation’. Let us leave that for another day but what I ask you to tell Cross Riverians I Repeat is Past Records (Academic & on the Job Training) - Past Records that will Turn Cross River State Economy from her present status to an Economic Hob-Nob of Global Interest. Please do not forget, I am talking about a ‘None Oil Driven Economy’ because Cross River State has no Oil Wells at the moment. We in Ntufam (Barr.) Fidelis Ugbo’s Campaign Groups Condemn in very strong terms all forms of sentiment, cynicism & frivolous Campaigns. That is why from day one of our campaigns, we have been very conscious of the crucial state of our economy in the course of our development as a people. Based on this hind sight, we had always embarked on issue based campaigns & we had continued tirelessly to Flaunt the Robust & Irresistible Credentials of our Principal and his Capacity and Ability to turn the present ‘Economic Woes’ of our state to ‘Economic Fortunes’. May I at this point take the lead in presenting my Principal’s Capacity Disposition to you once again in case u have forgotten or had no access to his rich background before today; Ntufam (Barr.) Fidelis Ugbo acquired both Polytechnic & University Education and he is the only one that has such a unique experience among those aspiring for CRS governorship position. The advantage here is that he understands the plight of both institutions and the role of their graduates & staff in the society. Ntufam (Barr.) Fidelis Ugbo: is an Accountant is a seasoned Economist is a Financial Expert/Analyst is a lawyer & a Barrister at Law Ntufam (Barr.) Fidelis Ugbo started his work career as a Lecturer for about 2yrs He had worked with our nation’s Apex Bank, the Central Bank of Nigeria for over 24years – a bank that regulates de activities of all commercial banks in our country & that means he understands the language of commercial banks in the country more than anyone else in the queue for CRS Governorship seat. He was appointed CRS Commissioner for Finance for about four years & that means he is very familiar with the state’s financial proceedings and situation. He was also appointed SSG by this out-going administration for over four years. The SSG is the engine room of every state’s administration & having headed that office successfully will leave no one in doubt as per his capacity. As a sign of his extraordinary performance as SSG, he was elevated through a Federal Government appointment by The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Executive Secretary, National Planning Commission (NPC) and doubled as the Secretary, National Economic Council of Nigeria for about four years. Within his tenure, Nigeria experienced an alarming economic growth displacing South Africa to become the Largest Economy in Africa; a position South Africa had occupied over the years. At this point, I rest my case for now. So over to you, go on; let us see who your Principal is ... waiting! But if you have nothing to say about your principal, then dont drag CRS backwards.
