My Child, I hear you wondering why your friend Daniel lingered so long in your earthly world when he seemed to be doing nothing but suffering. My Child, you and the rest of My children that you came in contact with during his illness were part of My divine plan. From the moment that you found out about his tumor, you and everyone he knew, drew closer to Me. You talked, you hugged, you cried, you laughed. Why did it go on so long, you are asking? Up until the last breath he drew in his mortal body he was doing My work. I watched as his wife walked the halls of hospice, seemingly mindlessly. That was intentional. She stopped to chat with other grieving families. She offered them My unfailing love, spoke of My promises, told them about eternal life. I used Daniel to accomplish that. The young man in hospice who died quickly from AIDS complications. His family needed healing, and Daniel, Amanda, and the rest of you who told them of Me...well, you were all part of his baptism in the pond at hospice right before he joined Me. He is sitting here at My side, healthy and whole. His family made peace with him and his choices before he joined Me. The lady, DOT, across the room from Daniel? Do you think the hours wasted talking to them was in vain? I watched as Amanda ministered to them through their pains. They needed your brand of humor to cope. They met me in your laughter. The family from Ohio? Imagine My joy as I saw a visiting grandson of a dying woman unselfishly go to Amandas house and fix her broken car; replace her brakes so she can travel safely. They will forever be connected, I have plans for them to grow together out of their losses. Up until Daniel took his last breath yesterday he was bringing homeless men, brothers from the discipleship houses, hurting people together. Without saying a word. Why did he seem to linger so long? He didnt linger...he was doing My work, filling up the heavens...without saying a word. Now Daniel is whole and healthy, not remembering what his suffering was like. My Child, each person has their part in My story. Go out today and love...and love well. In My name. Amen. p.s. Give Amanda an extra hug today...she will know its from Me!
