My Commentary September 11, 2014....Today we remember all of people who lost there lives in the most horrific act of terrorism on American soil. As i reflect back 13 years ago on this day i was in West Chester working for Canada Dry at the time. Recieving the call to stop work and go home for the day because America was under attack. All planes, trains and buses were brought to a halt. I95 North was shutdown to traffic except for emergency personnel racing to Manhatten. A day that we will never forget. My Pastor recorded a song a few weeks after this tragedy entitled We Made It which was recorded live at Radio City Music Hall. To be in New York City 2 months after and to still be able to see, smell and witness the damage to lower Manhatten brought on an eary feeling. That night in Radio City the families of the fire fighters who lost there lives were invited. To hear the cries and pain throughout the hall as the pictures were displayed was unreal. There wasnt a dry eye in the building. Listen to the words pinned to this song that was sang across America that year.
