My Day My dog and I stopped to get fuel at a truck stop. I parked in the parking lot and got coffee to go. A Black trucker parked next to me, and we looked at each other. The pain was obvious on his face, the same pain I feel in my heart. I smiled and waved, he just shook his head and didnt acknowledge me. And I understand totally. How can these obvious injustices recently not effect people? That fella doesnt know my family is made up of White, Black, Filipino & Mexican. All he can see is that Im a White man and for good reason he doesnt trust me. This is life in America in 2014. We must come together and stand against injustice and acknowledge racism whenever we see it. Im sending a big ole trucker hug out to everybody and will continue to pray for a healing for this nation. God Bless.💝 The only thing it takes for evil to exist, is for good men to be silent.
