My First Aid Call for the shift: an injured seagull was flopping around on the field, shaking its head vigorously, unable to walk or fly. I immobolized it and put it in a box, my coworker called Wildlife Rescue in Burnaby and they said to take it in the morning. At the end of the shift the bird seemed pretty lively when I moved the box, so I gave it one last attempt in case it had previously been dazed and could fly again- apparently the poor thing isnt going to be flying tonight, so I will drive it to the Wildlife Centre tomorrow and they will take care of it. (:
