What a contrast. Labour have, over this past week, voted with the Tories for £30bn of more cuts; and a mixture of voting for and against (and some abstentions) Trident renewal - although most Scottish Labour MPs didnt actually attend the debate. We also find out that the Chilcot report into the Iraq War will not be published before the general election - a move which can surely only be read to be designed to protect Tony Blair and those, mainly Labour politicians, close to the decision to take our country to war. By comparison the SNP have voted against austerity and £30bn worth of cuts; voted against trident renewal; called for Chilcot to be published now and announced an extra £100m in funding for elderly care. Weve got a message, folks. Lets get out there and take it to voters on the doors. Ill be out with the Glasgow South team tonight.
