Fulham ended a brilliant 13-run in the Premiership by its relegation today. *Next Saturday,Arsenal will have a big chance on a platter of gold to end their eight-year-trophy drought when they take on lowly Hull city in the FA cup final at Wembley Stadium. Wenger will be leading his wards to the pitch with the Carling Cup final loss to Birmingham four years ago at the back of his mind. He dare not fail this time around as one of Arsenals most ardent fans,Remigius has threatened to leave the club for him if he fails. *For the first time in over 20 years,Manchester United will not be playing in Europe next season as they ended their nightmare season placing 7th on the log. *Super Eagles Ramon Azeezs Almeria put up a spirited effort at Grenada winning 2-0 thereby confirming their La Liga status next season. *Atletico Madrid failed to take advantage of Barcelonas goalless slip at Elche when they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Malaga. * It will now be a final day-winner-takes-it-all decider at the Nou Camp next Saturday when Barca will take on Atleti on the final day of the season. * In Akure,local Gunners Sunshine Stars FC beat NPFL new comers,Giwa FC of Jos 2-0 to shoot to the 5th position on the league table. A win at home in their next match on Wednesday will most likely see them at the very summit of the league as the other notchers (Sharks,Bayelsa,Akwa and Nasarawa) will be playing away from home.
