My Frodo has the same disc problem and has been in a wheelchair 3 of the four times his back has blown out on him. He currently has the use of all his legs, though there is some neurological damage and he could, at any time, lose the use again. Some simple restrictions have helped. . . no jumping up and down off things... this is the big one!. . . restricted length of walks. . . Robaxin on bad days..... AND he is worth EVERY effort made to keep him going. . . . loyal and beyond cute :) His first blowout was at 2yrs. . . he is almost 9 now, with what I hope to be many more years ahead of him. PLEASE GIVE THIS LOVELY BOY THE SAME CHANCE!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
