My God! Its not too often that Im so insanely excited about an album, that I press a band to send it to me even before its even completely mastered. But this time its something personal, I just had to hear this beauty. And I cant...this is fantastic. Romanias dordeduh has always had a special status with me, they go very deep, ever since the leaders were fronting the famous Negura Bunget. Well, the guys in Dordeduh have been working on a side project for quite a few years, Ive even seen them perform live with it, but its been taking so long to release a debut album, if only they werent such goddamn perfectionists! Sunset in the 12th house is the name of their more esoteric incarnation of Edmond and Sol Faur, almost completely instrumental but totally enchanting, more subtle, more trippy/spacey, lots of proggy stuff, catchier yet way lighter and distant almost, it has a lot of Middle Eastern influences, its not so emotionally charged as Dordeduh but it is really classy as hell and so impressive. It feels like Dordeduh are actually having fun for a change, just jamming really. Damn its cool! I am totally LOVING this thing, and its not even fully mastered! There are songs actually giving me goosebumps. Damn! Walter Roadburn , Jurgen Roadburn, Gunnar Sauermann I cant wait until you guys will hear this record! It will be out this fall under Prophecy..
