My Great salute to the martyr Birsa Munda on his Martyr day 9th June. I salute the people who had given their supreme sacrifice to save jal, jangal, jameen and tribal cultural heritage. I salute the people who are fighting for the tribal cause. I also salute the intellectuals who are spreading awareness among the tribal people to save jal, jangal, jameen and tribal cultural heritage. Jai Birsa Munda! Jai Adivasi! Jai Bharat! Hul Johar!!!! Hul Johar! I rededicate my article, mentioned below for the 9th June 2013 on the Martyr day of Great freedom fighter Martyr Birsa Munda. He fought against the cruel Britishers and the cruel, corrupt and criminal money lenders (Mahajan). Martyr Birsa Munda was Born on 15 November 1875, Ulihatu, Ranchi, India; Died on 9 June 1900, Ranchi Jail, Ranchi. Please read this article carefully and share your feelings and experience of your life for the Tribal people in India. This will help us to make better strategy to fight against injustice towards Tribal people of India. Tribals the victim of the cruelty of Indian rulers Tribals the victims of the racial discriminations. European settlers killed and hunted the Native American/Red Indians/Aboriginals/Aborigines. They even spread the diseases among them by distributing infected blankets. They treated them worst. They wanted to finish them so that the land can be cleared for the European settlers. They used Chemical warfare agent like poisoning the well, used by the Native Americans; they also polluted the water of the well used by the Native Americans with the vomitus of the cholera infected patients. The Biological warfare agent like distributing the infected blankets with viruses and bacteria were also used in addition to the gun and swords against the Native Americans. Likewise in Australia and New Zealand also the aboriginal were treated very badly and reduced their population significantly by killing them, with various methods. These sadistic people were awarded by their cruel community and the concerned criminal Government for killing the Native Americans. Same pattern is being observed in India also. Government is doing undeclared war against its own people, its own original inhabitants of India those are the tribal people of India. The police forces are awarded in cash and in the form of promotion in their services for killing the tribal people in this country. This surely indicates that government is only interested for mines minerals and the land which belongs to the tribal people. The original people, whom we call the adivasis of India, are the victim of the fake democracy. Democracy of the country has been undermined and hijacked by the dominating politician and bureaucrats who are working in feudal system. They are the victims of criminal philosophy of some of the ruling class. They are the victims of the ill-defined developments. Government is doing all these atrocities to control over the Jal, Jangal and Jameen. The Government is committing crime and sin against the tribal people. This should be stopped. Indian tribals are living in a hostile environment in their own home land. In Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan Gujarat etc; migrated people from different parts of the country mainly Bihar, Bengal, Orissa, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are always ready to hurt Jharkhandi people or the tribal people. Can we call this, development of the nation? This is purely the racial discrimination by the colonized people of India. Should tribal people tolerate this for such a long period? This is daily phenomenon in the tribal area. The people from different part of the country living in the Tribal area, who have occupied land illegally, should be asked to leave the tribal area by the Government. Government sponsored terrorism amongst Tribal people should be stopped. It has shown its cruelty toward the tribal people. If Government is against the Naxalites because they believe in armed revolutions then what about the Government whose cruelty and spreading terror among tribal people by killing them through the state government police force, CRPF, CISF, paramilitary forces etc., is not the cruelty? Government is creating a dead calm in the Tribal zone of the country by the barrel of the gun. Quotation “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” Mao Tse-Tung. Likewise rulers are using same power to destroy the tribal people of India so that the Government can exploit minerals from the tribal land and also can make large dam, large different projects etc. on the tribal land. Educated tribal people are watching/monitoring each and every misdeed of the Government towards the tribal people of India. Government should stop sponsoring terrorism against the tribal people such as Salva Judum. Government is involved in looting tribal land or acquiring tribal land forcefully. We the tribal people protest this. A significant number of people in higher offices of the government of India are having principle of fake democracy. In real sense they are the people who do not believe in our democracy, who do not have respect for the Indian constitutions made by the Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Late Sh. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar jee. They believe in violence, they believe in cruelty, they believe in dispossessing tribals of their natural right on Jal, Jangal and jammen for the so called National development leaving them in misery and darkness. They have committed crime against the tribal people of India by killing them in the name of Operation green hunt, Operation Octopus, Operation Thunderbolt etc. & killing them by undermining their share in the development and the economy. Killing them by neglect/deprivation of the development scheme programmes ect. The local police forces also protect the mineral projects, either it may be minor mineral or it may be major mineral project. The police force also assists these Government projects or Government sponsored projects to acquire the tribal land forcefully. So what can we expect from such Government? Though Government has lots of developmental scheme to showcase in its favour. The government makes many various act/ rules/laws/scheme/programmes for the developments of the tribal people but that is fake. They actually don’t want the existence of the tribal people. These types of people are trying to mask and destroy the tribal identity, culture and heritage. To accord Oriya and Bangla languages as second languages of Jharkhand is also having the same purpose. They want to control/suppress the legitimate demand of the tribal people by barrel of the guns. If Naxalites believe in armed struggle, similarly some of the responsible authority believe and practice the same principles to grab the tribal land. That is “the principle of achieving political power with the barrel of the Gun”. The whole World and the whole nation should know that the tribal people are being killed. They are being deprived of their land and houses. These people do not want to develop tribal people with their own identity; they do not want to protect the tribal people. They want to wipe out all the tribal people of India. They want to vacate the tribal land forcefully so that they can do mining activity or establish other project for their interest only and not for interest of the tribal people. Disseminate the facts, divulge the misdeed of the Government towards the tribal people. Let the whole world know the fact that how original people of India are being treated by the Government of India. The nation which boasts itself to be one of the 6 nuclear power of the world, has failed to protect its own original people; instead it has done gross human violation against tribal people by killing them by branding them Naxalite. Indian Government has colonized on the tribal land to settle the other non-tribal people from other part of the country. The growth centre or developed area in the tribal zone had always been occupied by the non-tribal people of India. Crimes against humanity include: Murder, enslavement in the form of making tribal girls as maid though their land provides all the minerals and natural resources for the country, more than 3 lacs tribal girls are compelled to migrate out of Jharkhand to adopt household jobs for petty salary. Most of them being physically and mentally tortured, abused, raped and in some cases killed inspite of the fact that these tribal girls belong to the richest land mass of our country. The Government is doing forcible transfer of population by making colony for the project officials, imported from other part of the country; imprisonment- implicating false charges on tribals are being imprisoned. Tribals are already in jails in a significant number. Torture & rape- people from other state or from different community in the tribal zone makes tribal girls easy prey to rape the girls, many of these crimes against the tribal people of India are being carried out by the Government agencies and the Non-tribal and anti tribal people. (The Motives of the Indian Government or some people who consider themselves as people of main national stream. include: “Attacks on tribal people with various method, considered inferior” and “Control over all natural resources”. This is definitely Crimes against Humanity).These colonized people get strategically located to govern the whole land mass of the Tribal zone. India government wants to develop India by eliminating tribal people. It has been done so to the great extent also. Govt. wants tribal land in which 100% mineral deposit is there. If tribal people want their share and protection of their right they are hunted as Maovadi. The NGOs who are raising their voice in favour of the legitimate share of the tribal people they are also not been spared. They are harassed and tortured even they are also been killed. They are being targeted. They are being trapped in false cases even worse in some cases they are also being killed. Government is involved in violence. Government is sponsoring violence, crushing tribal people for the mineral rich tribal land. Government makes lots of acts and laws in the Parliament but when turn comes for its executions and implementations of the acts or the development programmes, the departments of the Government or the Government agencies or the agency authorized to work at the grass root level turns volte-face and start harassing the tribal people so that tribal people could not resist to surrender their land. Do we know how the development of the nation takes place? Every metal, with which nation builds building, bridges, vehicles, trains, aero planes, Hospitals or everything which requires metal comes from tribal land. The energy (Coal) with which nation is illuminated comes from tribal land. Nature has preserved it under its lap all the minerals in the tribal land. Our Nation is proud to be one of the six nuclear power nations of the world. The Uranium also comes from the tribal land that is Jadugoda, Jharkhand. Nation should know what kinds of treatment to the people of Jadugoda are being given by the Government of India? They are also affected by the radiation of the uranium. All the uranium waste from different labs, hospitals ect. are being dumped at Jadugoda. When power of the country comes from tribal land, when all types of metal comes from tribal land when all types of herbal items comes from tribal zone, when all type of developments are dependent upon the tribal land, then why can’t Government give them proportionate share? Why are they being chased? Why are they being driven out of their houses and land? Why are they being harassed or tortured? Why are they being killed??????????? Think over it. Give logical and legitimate and humane thought over it. Tribals are the victim of fake democracy. We are the victim of cruel and criminal philosophy of some of the ruling class? We are the victim of the ill defined development. We are the victim of the sadistic people in the higher positions. We are the victim of the racial discriminations by the Government as well as colonised people in tribal area, from different parts of the country. Government should define the development of the Nation. It should be well defined. It should be crystal clear. Is the elimination of the Tribal people called development? Is the assimilation of the tribal people into different dominated class or society called development? Is suppressing, oppressing and exploiting tribal people of India means development? Is ethnic cleansing of the tribal people in India by assimilation, compelled to surrender their land and houses, torturing physically and mentally, rape, depriving of the equal and proportionate share in development and by killing, called development? Could we call all above as essential parameters for the human developments and civilizations? The peoples’ representatives, actually they are the ruler of the country. Many of them do not match with their responsibility. Are they concerned for the tribal cause? Many of these representatives are elected from the reserve seats. Our Chief Minister of Jharkhand goes to Europe, U. S. A., Canada etc. to invite foreign investors to exploit minerals in Jharkhand so that tribal people can be wiped away to optimize the benefit of the Government, the investors and the dalals. Though the Chief Minister of Jharkhand till now were tribals only. If tribal Chief Minister cannot have vision for his own people then it is really very shameful and agonizing for the tribal people. Jharkhandi people have to think over it to get justice. Do our rulers accept tribal’s existence in a dignified way and consider us to give equal status or equal and proportionate share in all the fields? Like socio-cultural, economical and political fields? We hope that our sensible Government will agree to the voice raised by the people who are without arms and ammunitions. We believe that Government will listen and fulfill the legitimate demand raised by the genuine and original people of India. We the Tribal people want our proportionate share in every affairs of the Government on India. What we have to do- 1. Let us aware all the tribal people regarding their rights and privileges. We want our share not the charity. 2. Let us develop inter-relations such as emotions, sentiments, concerned among all the different tribal communities. 3. Let us develop interest of tribal cause in the tribal youths. 4. Let us develop sense of sharing and caring for our tribal people. 5. Let us sustain in our commitment and effort for the tribal people. 6. Let all sensible people of the nation come to know the fact about the cruelty of the Government upon the Tribal people of our country. 7. Let us pressurize our political representatives such as MLAs, MPs to amplify our voice. If we can fulfill above then certainly we will emerge stronger and certainly we will achieve our goal. Yes we can do this. Jai Bharat! Jai Adivasi!! Jai Birsa Munda! Jai Sido Kanhu! Jai Baba Tilka Manjhi!
