My Interview… Interviewer: I have interviewed a number of people who says making the transition from streets to being a productive member of society comes with a level of envy & sometimes hate for the person making the change. Do you share those same sentiments? Me: Well of course people will envy sometimes be jealous of you and I really cant say hate because hate is such a strong emotion and I am not the one to give it that much power. But I accepted that as part of the territory. Most people fear of that which they dont know and that which they dont understand. I get that! So for me, I am aware of that because I come from that same mindset I cannot speak down on that, I must encourage people to perpetually strive to conquer the fear of the unknown and to look at me and say to themselves If he can rise above it Then assuredly I can rise above it. Everything begins at the same point for the millionaire to the homeless person, A choice. Make the choice! Interviewer: As I have researched you for this story Much has been said about you from many different sources. While the majority spoke highly of your endeavors and character however there were some instances where some painted a very different picture of your life and example. What would you say to that? Me: To understand ones opinion you must first examine ones point of view and references. For instances If you had a man before the court system and you ask the prosecutor, the doctor and his attorney and his mother the question of who he is Im quite sure the answers will vary. The Prosecutor may see him as a criminal deserving of jail time. The doctor may see him as a patient with an addiction deserving medical attention. His attorney may see him as a client deserving leniency. His mother sees him as a good son who just made a bad choice. As it relates to me I am not above reproach or someones opinion/or truth of me. The dichotomy of my life is not a simple one. Interviewer: If you could say something that could potentially help a lot of people What would it be? and What would you say to people who misunderstand you? Me: I would advise people to do this one simple thing because it would help them and better the world and it could also clear of the misperception of me. My advice would be simply for people to conduct a background check on all thoughts, ideas, whispers and information before you allow it in your head. I promise if you do this you will find that you envy, hate and or jealous of good people that might can help you. That most of the people you harbor those feelings for hasnt a clue of who you are. Now aint that deep? You are jealous, envy or hate people who dont even know you exist…all because someone else whos not credible to be credible gave you some ill information on someone you havent had the opportunity to meet. Okay now too much on this next question…. Coming soon…..
