My Letter to The Editor of many newspapers regarding The Parti Québécois’ imminent controversial minorities law: Dear Editor, A healthy democratic society functions by using reason, debate, and the power of vote regarding matters of great public importance; especially those policies which profoundly and intimately affect countless citizens. The PQ shouldn’t have taken such wide-sweeping legislation into their own hands.
