My Mama & Daddy always try. Theyre fighters. Daddy will be 83 in May. Mama will be 82 in September. Mama has been in bad shape. Shes always pretty... but for the past few days, real bad shape. I spent the night with them last night to try and see whats going on with these morning seizures. Ive been working on this situation for hours. We gave her seizure medication & other things early...and I made her go back to bed. Took her coffee & breakfast to the bed. I made her lay back down. Daddy laid back down with her. Then a couple of hours later, I started getting her dressed. A good bath, I did her hair, picked out a cool outfit, dressed her & here they are. Smiling...and still trying. Daddy prayed this morning, again calling everybodys name in prayer thats in our family. Name by name. He thanked God for Mama and how much she means to him. He prayed for her strength and a for a safe day. We dont live forever on this earth. We all have an appointed time to die. However, at their age they have been blessed with many years of happiness. They are faithful in every area of their life. They wanted to go hear my brother preach. Daddy said I was the only way that was possible. I laughed and told them how good they look. I look like??? I cant think of anything to describe how bad I look! I just wanted to share this with yall...faithful friends. Im thankful for every good moment. This is a major difference than yesterday when Daddy was afraid Mama wasnt gonna make it. Im feeling real real thankful for the present.
