My Mom died 34 years ago today and this is my second Christmas without John and I know that they are both in that cloud of witnesses saying you can do this finish this race well . So here is my grown up Christmas wish that God give me the courage and strength to finish this journey and to finish it well . To trust in Him alone for my future to be able to walk away from harmful relationships and to seek the ones that glorify Him. That I am willing to share my story of depression and loneliness with others to encourage them to seek the only one that can heal those wounds . To remind others that we never walk this journey alone that God never gives up on me even when I want too give up on myself. No I may never understand the reason why but I am beginning a new chapter and 2015 is my year to throw off the old and walk righting into the new and to allow joy to flow out of the hole in my heart because joy does come when you seek Gods healing touch. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.1Chronicles 29:11
