“My Morning” in N.E. Ohio 11/29/2013 By J. Baker Summers warm breeze will soon fade away, bright blue skies will turn to gray. The once green leaves will turn to brown, dry up, wither and fall to the ground. Soon cold winds will start to blow, blowing out the leaves and blowing in the snow. Each year the seasons have the same and different life, as bright as the male Cardinal and as different as his wife. A white blanket now covers our once green grass, as icicles sparkle like pieces of artists glass. Stepping outside the inside of your nostrils start to freeze, as I enjoy my view there’s nary a breeze. As I look all around I see nothing but shades from white to gray, waiting for the sun to come up to start my day. The magnitude of the silence is emptiness that’s deafening, that you don’t hear, the pure silence that comes thru is loud and clear. Tiny little snowflakes fall softly from the sky, like gentle teardrops from God’s own eyes. The sun comes out by Gods good grace, spreading warm sunshine all over the place. If you can see the beauty spread before you across the land, you can tell that you were Blessed, by God’s Own Great Hand.
