The house feels so empty with Dave not home. Even with the two dogs up early and the kids back to their day camp schedule things still feel out if whack. But Im the one who sent him on this journey so I know we are doing something bigger then ourselves, something important, something good. I want so much to be in that van behind Dave as he rides, to swoop in to the hotels in the evenings and take care of Dave and his crew, but Im not ready to leave Gertie and George for 8 days. So I must rely on Barbs caring, responsible nature, Michaels wit and organizational skills, and Chengs photo artistry and healing hands to take care of my husband while he is away from us. But we miss him. Thank you so much for all the encouragement, prayers, and for coming out to cheer him on as he rides by. I know he feels this RTGA behind him for every turn of the pedals...I certainly feel it here at home as I wait to fly down Friday to see him again. Were on the road to Callies Jungle, and we cant wait to get there!
