My Mother - even imodium is useless..once again I am in rubber gloves scrubbing carpets, floors, washing...omigod... I told the doctor Im done Next call social services. I ask them will I be arrested for leaving here? Is it an offence like abandoning a child? because Im ready to walk out. I screamed Ive lost it all and this is too much for me.. I cant take it any more. She didnt know whether Id be arrested, but they flagged up her case. Social services said, sounds like she should be in hospital. She is skin and bones..and looks more like one of those concentration camp pics every day. And living on one protein drink, even though I mix it with a banana and some superfood powder, is not gonna produce solid output. Theres no point in complaining about the system failing us, because I know the system is fracked... and cracking at the foundations.. and it wont be able to cope for ever..And anyone that thinks by voting Green anything will change is deluded. Until military spending is diverted to keeping this planet and all life healthy no political party can make any difference. By the time I get that old, Im hoping that voluntary euthanasia is an option.. because if that law ever passes, Im gonna be signing up asap. If my life quality is such that I cannot function then Id rather make room for someone else.. let a younger person benefit from my pension instead of wasting money on keeping my spirit stuck to a body that isnt working. Quality of life is definitely not lying on a hospital bed with tubes feeding you and removing waste. This whole Hippocratic Oath thing didnt take into account the development of dubious technology whose creators are so proud of themselves for keeping someone alive when their body needs to shut down and find peace.
