One thing I pray for, is that every act of compassion by my Christian brothers and sisters is backed up by Godly discretion. Many times kids are energized by youthful zeal or self-righteousness to go out and make a difference in the world! and to do good now! -Yet the very things they choose to do are impeding on freedoms and harming lives. Showing true compassion entails being careful to the point where we indagate what will happen down the road. Because every decision effects others. Just like a doctor, we examine and pray for the patient to find out the exact cure that they need before we operate. **This is why Government can never show true compassion because they dont alleviate a victims suffering-- they just resort to a quick fix and throw money at the problem to mask it. (Kinda like popping pills to artificially mask a headache) *If you dont actually care to fix the root problem, you dont actually care for the person. And you have NO business meddling with their lives* You may feel compelled to donate to someone to get Chemotherapy, or give money to a homeless man. But without knowing the facts behind these seemingly good things were simply allowing our wicked hearts and emotions to lead us, and not God.
