Sean Hannity said... Bill OReilly said... Rush Limbauth said... On Fox News, an anchor said... I get that stuff that they say are shocking and in a way its important to know what theyre saying because they have a such a large audience, but I do wonder when center-left-leaning news blog sites (e.g. Daily Kos, Mother Jones, Slate, Salon) post and highlight the pundits and guests on Fox News, isnt the end result actually benefitting the Fox pundits/guests more than otherwise impacting them? Media folks make money by views and clicks and by listeners tuning in. Whats kind of happened is that paid left-leaning media folks spend a lot of time watching, clicking on, and listening to what the right-wing media folks are saying and sharing that. If the ultimate commodity is who has the most audience, its kind of like the non-Fox News media folks are doing the work of Fox News marketing department for them.
