My Mothers Day wasnt about fancy brunches, elaborate gifts, or being pampered but it was pretty great nonetheless. I did receive a darling bracelet from my family and some cute homemade cards, had a successful open house in the down pouring rain, pitched some baseball to Sam, ate some good Mexican takeout for dinner and ended the night by cleaning up Mollys babydoll mess off the living room floor for the tenth time today and then scraping playdoh off my kitchen floor. Its the simple things. Motherhood...the days are long but the years are short. Happy Mothers Day to all the fantastic moms in my life!
