My New 10 Part Series Amazing Drone Photography By Paul Vetrano / Critic One of the most amazing inventions of the 21st Century thus far is the portable unmanned drone. Before I show you some amazing photographs.. let me explain what a drone is. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone and also referred to as an unpiloted aerial vehicle and a remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), is an aircraft without a human pilot aboard. Technology is advancing so quickly with the miniaturization and quality of cameras and just about every thing else.. that it is now the century of the Drone. These ( fairly inexpensive) quad copters and small aircraft can fly above any area no matter how dangerous and capture still images and film images that few of us have never seen before... until now!
