My New Years Resolution is to really appreciate this man more. He really is one of the nicest guys on this planet. He may be foolish, tardy, unorganized and bite off way more than he can chew at times, as he has a hard time delegating or saying NO, but that is why we love him! As a coach, he spends endless hours for his players. He often spends an hour picking up 4-7 players (Tino helps at times) BEFORE practice to make sure they get there and another hour after practice taking them all home. He works a full time job as a teacher, coaches 3-4 hours a day and over 10-12 hours every weekend. He spends over 20 hours a week just on giving rides and searching the internet for stats/videos/drills to help his wrestlers have the best advantage. That is over 50 hours a week for wrestling alone. He provides 90% of the transportation to and from meets and tournaments by driving the little white FA school bus. He spends a GREAT deal of time away from our family for the student athletes of our community. He loves all of his wrestlers, soccer players and managers as if they were his own. Boys/Parents, take a minute and thank your coach. He really is one of a kind and I dont know what these programs/athletes would be like without his 110% devotion to them.
