My New Years motto has always been May your problems this year be different than those of last year or something like that. You get the idea. This year, we will take major steps in becoming more self sufficient. We will make changes to the way we purchase food and the way we get it. We will spend time learning new skills and focus on more productive ways to spend out free time. It will be tough, but I am confident that the coming year will be a beautiful learning experience and a chance to perfect the methods we already use. Making change is a process. You cannot rush it or expect to reach your goals easily, if they include making major lifestyle changes. Never give up. Every time you fall off the wagon is a chance to practice jumping back on.
