My Official critique of...Aaliyah: Princess of R & B; In the 1st thirty minutes of the movie, she went from Star Search to Superstar! They tried cram 22 years into 2 hours! As a writer, thats not possible! There were no details in that period of her life! I wanted more! I knew everything they showed! A Tabloid has more information! As a DJ, I wanted to see the magic in the Studio between she, Timberland & Missy! Yall know it was magic in there! I would have liked to have heard more of Aaliyahs original music. But since they didnt have her familys permission, that wasnt possible! As a fan, They didnt deliver her true spirit and love for life! They made it a Bootleg love story! I am no fan of Wendy Williams! Dont know how the hell she is rich, famous & now powerful! That movie was produced just like her show...Awful!! I love Aaliyah so I allowed myself to enjoy it! Can wait to see how they Butcher Whitney in January!!!
