My Radiology Oncologist told me yesterday that Nov 11 will complete 27 treatments and the end of this phase of our journey!! CT Scan and visit with my surgeon is scheduled for the 12th to set the date to remove the Leiomyosarcoma. NOT a pleasant thought but seems to be the obvious and most wise next step. I am thankful we are able to manage the nausea, and thankfully it is the only side effect Ive had these four weeks. My experience here at Duke Cancer Center has been a pleasant one, over all. From the valet drivers, volunteers, radiologists, receptionist and physicians, the kindness and patience has been almost overwhelming. I am guessing that this is not uncommon with most hospitals and treatment centers. I am convinced that God gifts those who do this type of work. To Him be praise for ALL!
