My Rant for today…….. As my dearly departed grandmother use to say, “Laud have mercy.” The POTUS actually said if we had more government jobs, the economy would be better off. What kind of twisted thinking is this? Not only does he surreptitiously use the race card to gain support for his agenda, this guy has no idea at all how capitalism or the economy works. He does, however, get my support to travel the country make speeches and collect Nobel Peace prizes until his term ends. But please, please stop trying to fix the economy. Direct quote from Big O, in context; “If those layoffs had not happened, if public sector employees grew like they did in the past two recessions, the unemployment rate would be 6.5 instead of 7.5,” Obama said. “Our economy would be much better off, and the deficit would still be going down because we would be getting more tax revenue.” Earth to POTUS, where the hell do you think the revenue comes from to support public sector jobs? All revenue flows from the PRIVATE sector Mr. President. Public sector job growth only create wealth for the individual, and is a drain on the economy and should be minimized at all cost. If you want a turnaround in the economy, you have to focus and grow the private sector. This is Economics 101 Mr. President. I think even Ole Joe knows that. For those of you that have been wondering, privately of course, why this president struggles with the simplest of economic concepts, the above mentioned quote contains the answer. He can’t help it; he has been indoctrinated by his mentors that Capitalism and America is inherently bad. I had such high hope back in 2008. Damn…………..
