My Semi-Secret Life... oh OK, well, here goes. Ive been building up to this for a while, but the truth is, I have a secret other life and Im being firmly nudged to share it. When Im not being a marketing person, author, friend, mum, or any of my other regular things, Im a Psychic Medium. Whooo - ok I said it. (I still have to press the POST button I know... ) anyway, while Im being all those other things, Im actually mostly pretty tuned into to a whole other side of life too. Its not just a turn it on and turn it off kind of thing... its who I am, and its been building since the death of my husband nearly 17 years ago. So - how does this work? And I know that some people reading this might view me differently knowing this about me - thats ok, Im ready for that. I know this is still not 100% easily or readily accepted these days... although mediumship/psychic stuff is considered a lot more ok than back in the days of Joan of Arc (thank God!). Anyway, for me, how this affects my life, and what I do with my gifts, is to help other Widows. Mostly young widows and people grieving or working through loss - sometimes even years after it happens. I also help other people who are confused about their own woo woo moments. Surprisingly there are not many handbooks out there for emerging psychics - so I try to help out in that space too. So now Im putting it out there, letting the world know (aside from friends who already affectionately call me spooky etc) Im finally ready to share that this is what I do, who I am, and if you know someone who needs to talk with someone like me please feel free to let them know about me too. And - I write a regular blog with insights into this stuff over at theblueflames.me if you would like to know even more but feel shy about asking. If anyone does want to ask me about this, thats ok too - Im open to helping make this a normal part of more peoples lives - and consider myself pretty normal too, I just have this... thing.
