My Thoughts on The State of Union The Democrats and the Republicans are both at fault!!! The democratic party wants to spend money without any limitations, and the republican party wants to spend money just as much, but the voters that they rely on to stay in office are sick of the government spending money without limits and so the republicans are being forced by their desire to maintain what power they have, to take a hard line which is disingenuous at best. The democratic party is openly wanting to continue borrowing money, printing increasingly devalued currency, and using the practically worthless and freshly printed money to buy debt in a vicious cycle that has already taken us way beyond our ability to ever pay off the national debt. The only way to prevent the actual failure of the dollar and to usher in a global depression unlike anything anybody in the modern era can even imagine, is to really, truly shut down the government! This means that we do what any American citizens or businesses are forced to do when they lose their jobs/customers or face any financial crises. The United States MUST enact a spending freeze and tell practically every single person of the almost 30 million government employees of the almost 500 distinct federal agencies to simply not come back to work! We either do this now and suffer the immediate consequences of a vastly and immediately deeper global recession, or we wait until the dollar actually fails and the choice is taken away from us. If we wait, then our economy and every economy around the globe that is tied to ours through the purchase of our worthless dollars as the international exchange currency, literally falls flat with nobody to come to the rescue and no easy way out of a global depression that will cause more suffering and deaths than all of the wars of the past 300 years combined.
