My apologies for the extended commentary here, but I have a few - TopicsExpress

My apologies for the extended commentary here, but I have a few things to share. Im seriously troubled with what is happening in Chester County right now. Please allow me to explain. I petitioned the voters to be placed on the ballot to run as a Candidate for Chester County Supervisor: Shane Stuart for Chester County Supervisor I was officially certified on July 11, 2014 by the Chester County Voter Registration and Election Office. If you check the scvotes web site you will see that Im still listed as a petition candidate: https://info.scvotes.sc.gov/Eng/Candidate/CandidateSearch.aspx?ElectionId=19547&QSHelperHash=3C51383AB7F5F51435C72E4640FE778571964E2C Now the current Incumbent County Supervisor Carlisle Roddey has had his lawyer send a letter requesting and DEMANDING the voter registration office verify ALL signatures, which is contrary to SC Code of Law 7-11-85: law.justia/codes/south-carolina/2013/title-7/chapter-11/section-7-11-85/ This is yet another waste of taxpayer money using resources to appease the powers that be. There is a procedure set to follow and the voter registration office followed the letter of the law the first time with my certification in accordance with SC Code of Law 7-11-85. Why should the office of voter elections and registration be used as a political football. This type of political bullying is the reason I am seeking to change county politics starting with the Office of Chester County Supervisor.
