My apologies if this seems tacky but I have no where else to vent... Friday may be the last day in my home. Due to bizarre circumstances and messed up events..I have eviction date as of Friday. I trusted wrong people and hoped things would change in my situation but it all fell through. I tried calling the different agencies and supports I have in place to aid me in fixing this mess I have before me but so far nothing has come out of it. I am at a loss as to why this has to happen to me now. To say I am scared is putting it mildly...I dont know what to do and not sure where else to turn. I thought it best to let people know what happened to me before everything gets turned off..the electricity and phone/internet will be going shortly if not before Friday. Yes those things have disconnection notices as well at the moment and i tried to call and make arrangements for payments but they are not accepting them. Even though I have been paying them monthly, it was not enough for them to not issue a disconnection notice. My rent was increased drastically because my son turned 18 last Oct. and the place he was doing his orientation stated to the Alberta works that he would be working 20 - 40 hour weeks. He only worked maybe a 10 week so rent stayed over priced till we managed to pay it down and get it readjusted but that ran out on Sept 1st and they upped it again to over $500. double what I get support for for only myself. He has not worked and has been trying to get back into school. This is taking its toll on my health and well being as well as my sons. Keep us in your prayers as we need all the help we can get and know I think of all my friends and family and wish them all the best and that nothing like this happens to any of you. Thank you for listening ..it helps a little knowing I am not alone in this.
