My apologies to those that arent in the inner circle who already know, but I wanted to let the rest of the world in on the news that I start my new job/career tomorrow at Florida Museum of Abstract and Modern Art as a specialist in 1960s and 70s counter-culture posters and garments. I had a good run at the History Center for several years, but my true love isnt really military history as much as the stuff that makes you look at it and say I wonder what the heck that is. Since I was a kid Ive been looking at and collecting modern art pieces and have been known nationally as an authority on stuff that many people dont even consider art. I want to thank my friends at the History Center and those pards all over the country Ive met through historical reenacting. I still may attend some historical events here and there, but now my opportunities for attending modern art shows and showing off my tie dye skills will take up a lot of my time.
