My band is learning Lady Madonna by the Beatles. While I was about to learn the drums for it, I noticed something for the very first time with this song that I never ever heard in all the years Ive listened to this tune. It has 2 drum tracks going or basically 2 drum parts. If you have the stereo version of the song, Ringo plays an upbeat jazz shuffle which comes out the left speakers but on the right side speaker you will hear him playing a rock downbeat groove. I still cant believe I missed that and Im a HUGE Beatles fan. So, I have to compromise a bit and come up with a blended version of both parts. ;-) Fun stuff. Could this be the first time a drummer has ever played over a loop of themselves??? Hmmm makes me wonder. ;-)
