My beautiful and lovely sister the late Nitalie was so calm and collected even in real hard times. She had her trademark beaming smile in the midst of devastating moments, that calmness and joy in her life swept me off my feet. I asked her how come she managed it terrifically and put it off so effortlessly. She said “I grabbed the great truth from the Lord, Ive given it all to the Lord. That means I don’t have to figure out all the details because he is in control. He is the Mighty mastermind of all the plans, so I am relaxed, my attitude is like just bring it on, and you will deal with Him (the Lord) sooner or later” Then she added, every day I pray this simple prayer, “They will be done”. No wonder she had a radiant smile on her face. It is hard to pray that prayer because it means giving up control of your life. But that doesnt mean your life will go out of control. It just means that your life is surrendered to God’s control. Those who give way to God’s will are happier than those who fight it. That‘s what my best friend the late Nitalie was saying to me, and that’s what I’m saying to you.
